This message gives you the chance to win a Dewalt Combi Drill, and also links to a fake competition that is similar to a quiz.
Similar to the Heineken Cooler WhatsApp scamtext, this scam text includes a malicious link “tinyurl5.ru”
Clicking on the link will take you to a fake Screwfix website where you can complete a survey to win your prize. The malicious website will send malware and virus to your phone as you click on it. This virus could attempt to hack into your phone’s security, and steal your passwords.

Screwfix is aware of the scam “2022 Fathers Day Giveaway”. The public has been warned. Remember that legit companies will never ask for personal information via WhatsApp to enter a competition.
