McAfee Total Security Scam Text is still active. It asks recipients to dial the fake McAfee Customer Service telephone number: (+1(877)-390-1807). Beware! It’s a fraud.

Many people received the McAfee Total Protect Scam SMS message in August 2022. Scammers sent the text to obtain financial and personal information.

The text format is:

Your McAfee Antivirus Yearly Product Subscription has been successfully renewed and updated. Within 24 to 48 hours, the charged amount will be made available. You can access your account profile.

This is a scam message that scammers send to you in order to steal your financial and personal information. It asks recipients to dial the McAfee customer support telephone number at +1 (877) 390-180. Don’t fall for it. It’s all a scam!

You are exposed to spywares, viruses, and malwares by clicking on the link. These can cause damage to your device and could hack or destroy your phone. Beware!

Do not fall for the trap of believing every word in the text. It is best to immediately block the sender of this scam text and delete it.
