Many people have received the text message from RBFCU. This text message is not from Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union. Scammers sent the text to scam victims in an attempt to steal their financial and personal information.

The RBFCU Scam Text 20022 – How does this Scam work?

This is a scam message that scammers send to you in order to steal your financial and personal information. Scammers have taken over RBFCU as a legitimate financial institution and are sending scammers fake texts to victims claiming that their funds were placed on hold because of recent transactions. They ask them to click on a link to delete it and move on. Don’t fall for it. It’s all a scam!

You are exposed to spywares, viruses, and malwares by clicking on the link. These can cause damage to your device and could hack or destroy your phone. Beware!
