Evri Rebooking Scam SMS 2022: What’s it all about?
This is a scam message that scammers send to their victims in text messages. They want them to visit an unreliable Evri site, which is in fact a phishing website. It states, “We are sorry we missed your delivery.” To book a redelivery, visit evri.com and pay 1.45 Euro.
Don’t panic! It isn’t from a legitimate source. This is a scam text that links to an Evri delivery site. Scammers are using the following fake websites:
- Evri- track.co
The following numbers were also used by them:
- 07713 734224
- 44 7599 691624
- 07599 661593
Scammers will claim that you have an undeliverable parcel. You need to pay the shipping fee or it would be returned to the sender. Here is the trick. These scammers will –
- Processing fee requests
- Trick you into submitting your financial information
You can make your device more vulnerable to malware, spyware, and viruses by clicking on the link. which can hack into your device and steal passwords. No matter how convincing the message/mails may sound, you should not click on any links or send personal information.
