Many people have recently received this scam email from AVG Subscriptions. Scammers are trying to trick potential victims into making fraudulent payments by sending a fake email that spoofs an Intuit email.

AVG Subscription Scam Email 2022: How Does This Scam Work?

This is a scam call or text message from fraudsters attempting to steal your financial information. The text states that AVG Home Ultimate Protection was paid successfully. Although this text appears to be from Intuit.com it does not have anything to do with intuit. The alleged agent is not authorized to represent intuit. Don’t be fooled. It’s all a scam!

Intuit has issued warning to Quickbook users about this scam.

True companies won’t ask for sensitive information like a password or credit-card number.

What should you do if or when you receive an email message from AVG Subscription Scam?
